Lone Oak Country Club is a Private 18 holes golf course  located in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Lone Oak Country Club first opened for play in 1969.The course was designed by Buck Blankenship.

This is not an overly difficult course. There are only a few trees and hills.  Water comes into play on eight holes. The fairways traverse three ponds and four creek crossings. The greens are medium-sized and fast. The fairways are open and feature a well-defined cut of rough.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,473 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,506 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 2, a par-5 that plays to 551 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 167 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 458-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 4, a 326 yard par-4.
